📚 Eligibility

To be eligible for wage funding through the Green Jobs program, interns must be:

  • Between the ages of 18 and 30 on the starting date of employment;
  • Eligible to work in Canada;
  • A Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have refugee status;
  • Available to work for at least 30 hours per week (some exceptions apply), for a 6-12 month position; and
  • Able to submit reports throughout their participation in the program

Details (including personal identification, employment interests, and contact info) of consenting youth hired through the program will be shared with the program funder, Natural Resources Canada. These details will be shared for reporting and eligibility considerations. Details of consenting youth seeking employment (including resumes, employment interests and city/province of residence) entering our applicant pool may be shared with prospective employers. These details will be shared to evaluate your fit for prospective roles. 

The information you submit through this form is processed by FormAssembly on behalf of Student Energy; and is stored by Google on its servers, which are located in the United States. The information we collect from you is meant for internal use only and will not be shared with other third parties.

The information you have provided for evaluation and accountability purposes will also be shared with Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).
