Youth Impact Framework Pilot Cohort: Application Form

Student Energy, in partnership with the Global Covenant of Mayors (GCoM), is seeking 10 youth-led climate and energy projects or organizations to participate in a pilot program applying the Youth Impact Framework (YIF).

Selected projects will participate in a series of 4 workshops and receive training, mentorship, and communication support to strengthen their impact measurement and storytelling. By the end of the program, project leaders will have a stronger pitch, impact evaluation framework, and a network of peers and mentors to help scale their work. Participants will receive a modest stipend for their participation.

Eligibility

The project or organization must...

  • Be led or co-led by youth (ages 18–30)
  • Be actively implementing a project related to energy, climate, or sustainability
  • Have been active for at least 6 months prior to application
  • Have a strong connection to one or more local communities as the primary site of impact
  • Have an interest in improving impact evaluation and communication to stakeholders

Timeline

The cohort program runs from October to December 2025.

  • Application is open and closes September 16, 2025
  • Selected projects/organizations will be notified by September 29, 2025
