IMPORTANT: As of June 21st, 2024, we are prioritizing applications from those who are based in or are from Northern and Remote regions of Canada.

We highly encourage all youth from Nunavut, Nunavik, Nunatsiavut and Inuvialuit Nunangat to apply, or to reach out to our team if you would like support to complete your application.

The 2024 SevenGen Summit is heading to Inuit Nunangat!

The SevenGen Summit brings together Indigenous youth and emerging leaders from coast to coast to coast to engage, learn and take action for our shared regenerative, just, and sustainable futures. This year’s summit will take place in Iqaluit, Nunavut and will aim to bring north and south together for an experience created by Indigenous youth. for Indigenous youth.

Cultivating our power to convene and build lasting kinship, this year’s summit aims to deepen our impact by braiding together clean energy innovation, climate and Indigenous ways of knowing and being. 

Indigenous youth and emerging leaders are uniquely positioned to champion the many complex issues of our times. This year’s Summit will feature a main plenary, panel discussions, and top-tier workshops woven together through a youth forum. Spaces for youth and emerging leaders to have their voices heard through various mediums are a vital part of this process. It wouldn’t be a SevenGen Summit without intercultural sharing, entertainment, and our Innovation Jam.

The SevenGen 2024 Indigenous Youth Energy Summit is an Indigenous youth-led initiative, guided by SevenGen Council and supported by Student Energy, a charity registered in Canada. The data you provide will be accessed by Student Energy and the SevenGen Council. The information you submit is collected by a third party, Google, on behalf of Student Energy. Google will store this information on its server, which is located in the United States.
